Katherine Lucille Hardin

Katherine Lucille Milner Hardin, 98, of Florence, SC, passed away on Tuesday, May 16, 2017. Mrs. Hardin was born in Williamstown, KY, a daughter of the late James Lawson Milner and Lennie Liddle Milner.She was a Licensed Practical Nurse in the northern Kentucky area with St. Elizabeth Hospital in Covington, KY.She was a member of Florence Baptist Temple. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil Thomas Hardin and five siblings. Surviving are her sons, Howard Joseph (Nancy) Hardin and Virgil Thomas (Martha) Hardin, Jr.; grandchildren, Virgil Thomas (Kerry) Hardin, Mary Beth Hardin and Judy Anne (Mark) Fendrick; great-grandchildren, Joshua Robert Hardin, Katrina Ann Hardin, Luke Thomas Hardin, Cole David Fendrick, Blake Edward Fendrick; Drew Thomas Fendrick and Owen Paul Fendrick and her sister, Rose Marie Kern. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 20, 2017, in the Florence Baptist Temple Sanctuary directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Newport, Kentucky at a later date. Family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at the church.
