Junior M. Turner

Junior M. Turner, 75, of Florence, SC, passed away on Saturday, December 10, 2016. Mr. Turner was born in Gresham, SC, a son of the late Clifton Turner and Lottie Richardson Turner. He was a veteran of the US Army and served during Vietnam as a tank driver.He retired in 2011 as Utility Supervisor from the City of Florence after 41 years of service. Surviving are his wife Connie Lee Turner; brothers, Lonnie Turner of Columbia, SC, Tommie Turner of Florence, SC and James Turner of Lamar, SC and sisters, Sylvia T. Kelly of Lamar, SC, Betty T. Cook of Dillon, SC and Elsie T. Hodge of Loris, SC. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Carlisle Turner of Marion. Graveside Services will be held 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 12, 2016 at Florence Memorial Gardens directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.
