JULIE MARIE RICHARDSON FLORENCE, SC JULIE MARIE RICHARDSON, 41, of Florence, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, November 21, 2012. Miss Richardson was born in Florence, SC a daughter of Frank Purvis Richardson and Linda Ward Richardson.She was a very active member of Central United Methodist Church where she was a member of the Sunshine Sunday School Class. She was a member of the Leroy Johnson Bowling Team with the Special Olympics, loved parties, people and animals, especially dogs.She had been associated with the Florence County Sheltered Workshop. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, O. Frank Richardson and Marion Purvis Richardson; maternal grandparents, Raleigh O. Ward and Leora DeWitt Ward and by a brother, Frank Purvis Richardson, Jr. Surviving are her parents of Florence; brother, John Ward Richardson and his wife, Pam and their children, Graycn and Elizabeth, all of Effingham and a number of special aunts, uncles and cousins. Memorials may be made to Central United Methodist Church, 225 W. Cheves Street, Florence, SC29501 or to the Florence Humane Society, PO Box 4808, Florence, SC29502. The family will receive friends from 4:00 – 5:00 PM Sunday at the church in the Commons Area before the service. A memorial service will be held at 5:00 PM Sunday, November 25, 2012 at Central United Methodist Church directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. Following the service, refreshments will be served. Burial will be held at a later date at Lebanon Cemetery in Effingham.
