Julia Mae Williamson

Julia Mae Williamson, 86, of Florence, passed away on Monday, October 18, 2021. Ms. Williamson was born a daughter of the late Girlener Grant White and Sam White.She was a graduate of Wilson High School in Florence.She retired in 1986 after 17 years of providing visiting nurse services to those in need while working for Jacoby Hospital in New York, NY.Ms. Williamson was a member ofSt. Paul AME Church. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, Willie Alexander Williamson; sons, Ricky Williamson, Julius Williamson and Barry Williamson; and brother, John White. Ms. Williamson is survived by her daughter, Sylvia Nodarse (Lewis) of Miami, FL; son, Willie Williamson, II of Baltimore, MD; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brothers, David White, James White, Boyd White and George White; and sisters, Corine White and Girlener Boone, both of Florence. Memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, October 22, 2021, at the Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home Chapel.Burial will follow at Florence National Cemetery.
