Judith Wicker Johnson

Judith Wicker Johnson, 79, of Florence, passed away on Wednesday, June 5, 2019, at McLeod Hospice House surrounded by her family. Mrs. Johnson was born a daughter of the late Sarah Kinard Wicker and Ben C. Wicker.She was a Registered Nurse for over twenty years and a member of Eastside Christian Church, formally Bethesda Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Johnson was a devout Christian, devoted wife, mother and grandmother. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Ronald C. Wicker. Mrs. Johnson is survived by her husband, Walter R. Johnson, Sr. of 58 years; daughter, Chrissie J. Prince (David) of Florence; sons, Walter Johnson, Jr. of Florence, Ben Johnson (Jennifer) of Myrtle Beach and Mark Johnson (Sherry) of Irmo; eleven grandchildren; and sister, Becky Wicker of Columbia. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, June 8, 2019, at the Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home Chapel. Entombment will follow at Mount Hope Mausoleum.
