Judith Player Hanna

Judith Player Hanna, 73, of Florence, SC, passed away on Friday, January 30, 2026.

She was born in Lexington, SC, the daughter of the late Hubert Player and Ramona Shealy Player. Mrs. Hanna was a member at Tan’s Bay Baptist Church, who worked for many years as a secretary for South Florence High School. She enjoyed quilting and reading and was an outstanding cook.

In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, Carroll Hanna; and brother-in-law, “Slick” Poston.

Surviving are her son, Kevin Hanna; daughter, Tracy (Jamison) Estep; grandchildren, Braydon Weatherford, Jae Hanna, and Kayla Hanna; brothers, Mike (Shirley) Player and Steve Player; sisters, Glenda (Mike) Gay and Marsha Poston.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are to be made to the Prayer Shawl Ministry at Tan’s Bay Baptist Church, 3919 S Irby St, Florence, SC 29505, or to McLeod Foundation - Cancer Research Trials for Prevention & Treatment of Cancer, PO Box 100551, Florence, SC 29502-0551.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.

Graveside service will be held at 12:30 PM, on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at Florence Memorial Gardens. Entombment will follow.
