JUANITA T. MATTHEWS JONES Effingham, SC Juanita T. Matthews Jones, 84, of Effingham, died Thursday, December 27, 2012, at a local healthcare facility. Mrs. Jones was born in Williamsburg, SC, a daughter of the late Tom Matthews and Clara Eaddy Matthews. She retired from Florence School District 1 as a cook and attended Bethesda United Methodist Church. She is predeceased by her parents and her husband, Lonnie Jones, Jr. Surviving are her daughters, Faye (Bill) Rochelle of Florence and Sylvia (Michael) Carraway of Effingham; her grandchildren, Robbie Grainger and Shannon Carraway, both of Effingham, Mark Taylor, Bonnie Lloyd, Paul Taylor, all of Florence, and Jennifer Grande of Aiken; and four great-grandchildren. A Graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, December 31, 2012, at Florence National Cemetery directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.
