Joyce Ann (Cain) Kennedy, 72, of Effingham, SC, passed away on Tuesday, June 22, 2021. Mrs. Kennedy was born a daughter of the late Mildred Louise (Elliott) Cain and Hardy Cain. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, Artie Rey Kennedy. She is survived by her sons, Joseph C. Hutson III (Jacqueline) of Cincinnati, Ohio, William Kenneth Hutson (Sheila) of Orange Park, FL. and Christopher Scott Hutson (Cary) of Florence, S.C. and stepdaughters, Renee (Kennedy) Parker (Tim) of Florence, S.C. and Catina (Kennedy) Brown (Allan) of Florence, S.C.; nine grandchildren; Joseph C. Hutson IV (Erin), Ashley N. Hutson, Kensley T. Hutson, William Landen Hutson, Sidney A. Hutson, Christopher Lane Hutson, William R. Heitzenrater (Ashley), Aaron C. Kennedy and Stephen A. Brown; four great-grandchildren; Elaina R. Hutson, Julianne C. Hutson, Joseph C. Hutson V and Evelyn N. Hutson and sisters, Nancy (Cain) Coleman (Russell) of Mullins, S.C. and Gail (Cain) Parrot of Georgetown, S.C. Memorial service will be held at 10am on Friday, July 16, 2021, at Florence Memorial Gardens.
