Joseph Don Broadwell

Joseph Don Broadwell, 75, of Florence, passed away on Saturday, May 24, 2025.

Mr. Broadwell was born in Florence, SC a son of the late Jesse Don Broadwell and Carrie Boswell Broadwell. He graduated from Francis Marion College with a degree in mathematics. He loved music, especially beach music, and his dog, Ben. A beloved farmer and family man, Joe dedicated his life to the land, leaving behind a legacy of hard work, determination, and a deep love for the farm.

Surviving are his wife, Linda White Broadwell; son, Joseph Don Broadwell, Jr.; daughter, Julia Broadwell (Chad) Jernigan; and grandchildren, Chloe Broadwell, Brody Jernigan, and Crosby Jernigan.

Memorials may be made to a charity of one’s choice.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 3:00 pm Wednesday, May 28, 2025 at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home with the funeral service to be held at 3:00 pm in the funeral home chapel. 

Entombment will be private.
