Joseph Albert Milizia Florence, SC Joseph Albert Milizia, 81, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Friday, October 19, 2012. Mr. Milizia was born in Burlingtion, Vermont. He was a U.S. Army Air Corp Veteran having served during the Korean War. He retired from IBM in the early 1980's. He was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church. Surviving are his loving wife of 30 years, Rita Marie McCaffery Milizia of the home; son, Stephen Milizia of Burlington, Vermont and a grandson, Christopher Milizia of Burlington, Vermont. A Mass of Christian Burial will be said at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at St. Anthony Catholic Church. Entombment will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery Mausoleum, directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. A Christian Wake service will be held at 6:00 p.m. followed by visitation until 8:00 p.m. Monday, October 22, 2012 at the Funeral Home.
