JONI MELISSA HERRICK FLORENCE, SC Joni Melissa Herrick, 51, of Florence, passed away on Friday, October 23, 2015 at her residence. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, October 25, 2015 in the Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home Chapel.The family will receive friends immediately following the service. Joni was the daughter of Thomas and Jean Edwards. She was born in Fort Benning, Georgia on September 26, 1964. She grew up in Taylor County, Florida. Over time, she moved to South Carolina and became a mother of three. She worked hard to get a paralegal degree. She loved sunshine and the outdoors. She was so very proud of her family, especially her grandson. She impacted a lot of people’s lives and will be missed. Joni Melissa Herrick, 51 years old, survived by son, John Herrick Jr., and daughters, Brandi Crum and Alex Sorrell, her daughter’s husband, Joseph Sorrell, and daughter’s son, Damian Sorrell, and her husband of almost 23 years, John Herrick Sr., and her adopted parents, Theron and Pert Yarborough.
