Johnny Clint Floyd Timmonsville, SC Johnny Clint Floyd, 45 of Timmonsville, died Friday, October 15, 2010 after an accident. Mr. Floyd was born in Kingstree, SC., a son of John Jackson and Shirley Springs Floyd.He was formerly employed by Columbia Farms in Florence and was presently employed by Chick-A-Ray of Hartsville.He was a member of Elim Baptist Church.Johnny was a devoted husband and father.He was an avid outdoorsman.Johnny was faithful to his Lord, his family, and his community.Known for lending a helpful hand to anyone in need, Johnny lived his life being a “Good Samaritan”. Surviving are his parents of Sumter; his wife, Lisa Flail Floyd; five children, Alexis, Hannah, and Jacob Floyd all of Florence and Ashleigh and Travis Floyd both of Sumter; two sisters, Cheryl (Wiley) Moore of Dalzell, SC and Karen Dennis of Sumter; a brother, Kevin Floyd of Sumter; in-laws, Rev. Melvin and Joan Stauffer Flail of Lamar; five nieces, Mariah, Elizabeth, Amanda, Hayley, Kaitlyn; two nephews, Cameron and Ronnie; brother in law & sister-in-law, Keith & Thea White, of Florence. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, October 19, 2010 at Elim Baptist Church.Burial will follow in the Florence Memorial Gardens Cemetery, directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Johnny Floyd Good Samaritan Scholarship Fund, C/OMr. & Mrs. Keith White, 2118 Damon Drive, Florence, SC 29505. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Monday, October 18, 2010 at the funeral home.
