Johnnie Kay McLellan Polony Florence, SC Johnnie Kay McLellan Polony, 60, passed away Saturday, March 22, 2014 in the McLeod Hospice House after an illness. Johnnie was born in Marion, SC a daughter of the late John David McLellan and Venice Graham McLellan Rabon. She was of the Baptist faith. Johnnie enjoyed various activities, including listening to her favorite Motown or oldies music and shagging. Her other hobbies were swimming, diving, hula hooping, and working in her yard. She had retired as a Register Nurse from McLeod Regional Medical Center after about 20 years of devotion and passion for her patients and co-workers. She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, John David “Mack” McLellan; sister, Jean McLellan Kenney and a nephew, Matthew Clark. Surviving are her children, Rebecca A. Polony of Florence and Chris L. Polony of Atlanta and their father, John E. Polony of Spartanburg, Johnathan E. Windham and Mary F. Windham and their father, James E. Windham of Florence; sisters, Judy M. Fisher of Lexington, SC and Sue (Don) Grantham of Florence; nephews, Stephen Grantham, Jr. and John Austin; nieces, Chelsea Grantham and Kim Hatcher and grandchildren, Landon, Jacob, and Cy.
