John Stephen Pattillo

John Stephen Pattillo, 67, of Florence, SC, passed away August 10, 2025.

He was the son of the late Ned Pattillo and Frances Brown Pattillo.

John had a deep love for the beach and the easygoing rhythm of beach music. In his younger years, he cherished fishing trips with his son. He woke up every morning saying “it’s gonna be a good day.” Known for his uplifting spirit, John always saw the glass as half full and approached life with unwavering positivity.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Tammy Pattillo; brother, Donnie Pattillo; and brother-in-law, Tom Kinard.

He is survived by Rita Pattillo who he spent many years with; son, Travis Pattillo; daughter-in-law, Stephanie Patch; grandchild, Miles Pattillo; brother, Bobby (Margaret) Pattillo; sister, Tilly Kinard; and niece Robin (Michael) Matthews.
