John "Jack" Hampton Wright

John Hampton “Jack” Wright, Jr., 73, of Rocking Chair Road, died Monday, February 8, 2016 at home. He was born January 27, 1943 in Lake City, SC, a son of the late Dick Hampton Wright and Arcie Parrott Wright.Mr. Wright was a painter and loved fishing.He loved his family.May he rest in peace and his family will cherish his memory. Survivors include his wife, Geraldine “Libby” Wright of the home; his daughters, Jackie Elaine Huffman and Christine Barber, both of Darlington; grandchildren, Donnie Lewis Huffman, Jr., Joey Barber, Jr. and Jonathan Barber; great-grandchildren, Dezirae Naomi Huffman, Alexis Barber, Annaleigh and Jayden Barber; and brother, Donnie (Laura) Passailaigue. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother and a sister. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 11, 2016 in the Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home Chapel. Family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Stoudenmmire-Dowling Funeral Home, P. O.
