John Henry Hutchinson

John Henry Hutchinson Florence, SC John Henry “Johnny” Hutchinson, 68, died Friday, December 27, 2013 at his home after an illness. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 30, 2013 at Mizpah Cemetery off of Hwy. 327, Florence with Masonic Rites by Amity Lodge #340 directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. Mr. Hutchinson was born in Florence County, a son of the late Jake and Ida Colee Poston Hutchinson. He retired from the Florence Paper Mill, now known as Rock Tenn after 47 years. He was a member of the Amity Masonic Lodge #340 and a member of the Omar Imps. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Roger Hutchinson, sister, Joyce Lee and a sister-n-law, Carol Hutchinson. Surviving are his wife of 48 years, Jeanette Owens Hutchinson; son, John (Jennifer) Hutchinson, III and their children, John Henry (Jhess) Hutchinson, IV and Kenneth Owen Hutchinson;daughter, Tara (Rusty Swails) Evans and her children Ronald Sasser Anderson, Jr. and Justin Henry Anderson; son, Jake (Hope) Hutchinson and their children, Dalton Elijah Hutchinson and Colton Jake Hutchinson; brother, Donnie Hutchinson; sisters, Mazilee (Robert) Stevens, Louise (Ralph) McBride, Jean (Clifford) Hanna, Thelma (David) Kennedy and Gail (Joe) Kelly; a very close friend of the family, Renee Coleman and long time family friend, Sammy Muldrow. The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home and other times at his residence. Memorials may be made to the Shriners Hospital, PO Box 21028 Charleston, SC.
