JOHN DUDLEY HATFIELD FLORENCE, SC John Dudley Hatfield, 83, of Florence, passed away on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at the McLeod Hospice House after an illness. Mr. Hatfield was born in Florence Co., SC a son of the late Furman Hatfield and Lillian Goins Hatfield.He was a US Army veteran having served during the Korean War and was the owner and operator of a heavy duty construction company.He had attended the Greater Vision Tabernacle Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; step-son, Hank Hartfield and brothers, Herman Hatfield, Lloyd Hatfield and Sid Hatfield. Surviving are his wife of 41 years, Clydia McGee Hatfield; daughter, Deborah (Jamie) Farley of Florence; step-children, Jackie (George) Evans of Michie, TN, Donnie Hartfield of Florence and Cindy (Joey) Johnson of Marion; 11 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild; brothers, Major (Ella) Hatfield of Effingham and Frank Hatfield of Darlington. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, March 28, 2015 in the Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home Chapel.Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery.
