John David Johnson

John David Johnson, 76, of Florence, SC, passed away on Monday, May 25, 2026.

He was born in Mount Airy. NC, the son of the late Isaac G. Johnson and Mary Sue Gwyn Johnson. Mr. Johnson worked many years as a cars salesman.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his siblings, Mac Johnson and Virginia Carol (James) Canard.

Surviving are his wife, Catherine Murphy Johnson; daughter, Samantha Horton; and grandson, Joseph Horton.

The memorial service will be held at 2:30 PM, on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at Lamb’s Chapel. Burial will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery.
