John Henry Culleton

John H. Culleton, 88, of Florence, SC, passed away on Tuesday, September 9, 2014. Mr. Culleton was born in Huntington, NY, a son of the late John Joseph Culleton and Mary Driscoll Culleton.He was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church where he was active in the Men’s Club. Mr. Culleton retired as an aerospace engineer with Grumman Aerospace after forty-four years. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Dan and his sisters, Helen and Mae. Surviving are his wife of fifty-eight years, Shirley Garrison Culleton; his children, Catherine H. Rice of Melbourne, FL and John (Mary) Culleton of Florence; and his grandchildren, John, Megan (Brandon), Grace, Stephen, Michael, Jessica and Sean. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. at St. Anthony Catholic Church on Saturday, September 13, 2014. Burial will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.
