John Samuel Craddock

John Samuel Craddock, 81, of Florence, passed away on Saturday, November 17, 2018. Mr. Craddock was born in Rockingham, NC a son of the late John Winchester Craddock and Alice C. Oliver Craddock.He was a US Army veteran and a faithful member, for almost 40 years, of the Florence Baptist Temple where he sang in the choir.He had been a CPA for Nabisco and then with his wife, Annice, he founded Love Life Ministries. He was preceded in death by his parents and by his first wife, Frances Annice Craddock. Surviving are his second wife, Sandra Edwards Craddock; son, Mark (Donna) Craddock of Florence; daughters, Cathy (Thad) Driggers of Coward, SC and Debbie (Paul) Haydon of Clayton, NC; step-sons, Jason (Charity) Edwards of Lynchburg and Wesley (Kami) Edwards of Florence; 15 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 in the Florence Baptist Temple Chapel.Burial will follow in the Florence National Cemetery directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.
