John Edward Brockington

John Edward Brockington, 60, of Florence, passed away on Tuesday, August 1, 2023, at McLeod Hospice House. Mr. Brockington was born the son of Herbert Brockington and the late Alice Elmore Williams. He was a very hard-working man raised on a dairy farm, who loved his wife, family, friends, and his church family at Abundant Life Church. He never met a stranger and he helped everyone who needed it. He had stories to tell and could entertain for days. He was one of the best front end alignment tire mechanics in the business. He worked multiple places such as Cardinal tire, Jones body shop & collision, T & T southside brake, Dillon Motor Speedway, and many other racetracks. In addition to his mother, he is predeceased by his brother, Terry Brockington; Grand-Daughter Lee-Ann Horton. Mr. Brockington is survived by his wife, Lisa Brockington; Daughter, Naomi Brockington (Seth) Horton of Florence, SC; brothers, Tim (Kim) Brockington of Florence, SC; Robert (Chris) Brockington of St. Matthews, SC.
