Joey Dean Anderson

Joey Dean Anderson, 57, of Florence, passed away on Monday, March 9, 2020. Mr. Anderson was born in Florence Co., SC a son of the late Howard Anderson and Bertha Jeffords Church.He was a member of Lebanon Free Will Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, and by a sister, Gloria Lunsford. Surviving are his wife, Penelope “Penny” Welch Anderson; son, Cecil Anderson of Florence; daughter, Ashley (Dean) Yarborough of Florence; grandchildren, Ashton Anderson, Alexis Anderson, Kinsley Eaddy, Eli Eaddy, Tyson Yarborough, and Adelynn Yarborough; brothers, George Anderson of Florence and Willie (Brenda) Anderson of Coward; sisters, Christine (Wil) Willis of Florence and Linda (Tracy) Collins of Coward; brother-in-law, Bill Lunsford and many special nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to Lebanon Project 52, 7001 Friendfield Road, Effingham, SC 29541. The family will receive friends from 2 – 3 pm Thursday, March 12, 2020 at Lebanon Free Will Baptist Church with the service to be held at 3:00 pm in the church sanctuary.Burial will follow in Pinedale Cemetery, Turbeville, SC directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.
