Jody L. Pridgeon

Jody L. Pridgeon, 73, of Quinby, SC, passed away Saturday, May 30, 2026.

He was the son of the late Early Quinton Pridgeon and Joyce Mable Boswell Pridgeon.

Jody worked in landscaping for NLDAC Landscaping and found great satisfaction in working outdoors, particularly in creating koi ponds. He had a special affection for animals, especially dogs and cats. Jody will be remembered for his wonderful sense of humor, open mind, and the heart of a child. His playful spirit and genuine kindness touched the lives of everyone who knew him.

He lived life by a simple saying “Don’t sweat the small stuff…..Its all small stuff.”

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Franklin M. Pridgeon and sister, Kathryn “Kathy” Pridgeon Stewart.

Surviving is his sons, Jason Pridgeon, Joshua Pridgeon, and Jake Pridgeon; and daughter, Jillian (Van) Hartsell.

Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home is assisting the family.
