Joan Grace Shoff Shroyer

Joan Grace Shoff Shroyer, 91, of Florence, SC, passed away on Tuesday, January 27, 2026.

Ms. Shroyer was born in Altoona, PA, the daughter of the late Grace Savage Shoff and Elmer Francis Shoff.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 73 years, Richard (Dick) Shroyer; her sons, Rick Shroyer and his wife, Sarah, and Mike Shroyer; a sister, Doris Behe, and granddaughter, Suzanne Elizabeth Shroyer.

Mrs. Shroyer was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church, a life-time bowler of 45 years; she was an avid golfer and a member of the Oakdale Country Club. Mrs. Shroyer loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Surviving are her son, David W. Shroyer (Connie) of Florence; daughter-in-law, Nancy Shroyer; grandchildren, Jonathan Shroyer (Lori), Samuel Shroyer, Carl DeVault, and Phillip DeVault (Betsy); and four great-grandchildren, Hayden and Owen Shroyer, Phillip DeVault, Jr. and Belle DeVault.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at Florence Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel. Funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM in the Chapel directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. Entombment will immediately follow.
