Joan Joyner Cox

JOAN JOYNER COX FLORENCE, SC JOAN JOYNER COX, 56, of Florence, passed away Sunday, November 16, 2014 in a local hospital after an illness. Joan was born in Florence, a daughter of the late Charles Marion and Maria Cottros Joyner. The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 2:30 P.M. Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home, followed by a graveside service at Mount Hope Cemetery at 3:00 P.M. Tuesday. In addition to her parents, Joan was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Charles M. Joyner, Jr. and Otis Glenn Joyner. Surviving are three children; Rose (James Austin) Matthews, Michael Cox and Scott Cox, all of Florence; sister, Myra Poston of Florence and brother, John Joyner also of Florence, and eight grandchildren.
