JOAN CAROL BESSETTE HASTINGS Timmonsville, SC Joan Carol Bessette Hastings, 73, of Timmonsville, passed away Thursday, August 16, 2012. Mrs. Hastings was born in Springfield, MA, the daughter of the late Raymond and Marie Vanasse Bessette.Mrs. Bessette received her Bachelors Degree at age 65.She retired as Director of Nursing in Agawam, MA. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Phillip Arthur Hastings. Surviving are her sons, Phillip (Susan) Hastings of Bear, DE, Steven (Angela) Hastings of Ocala, FL, Paul (Jennifer) Hastings of Land O' Lakes, FL, and Chuck (Michelle) Hastings of Florence; eight grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; her brother, Roy Bessette of Agawam, MA; and her sister, Jean Gamblin of Texas.
