James “Jimmy” Kenneth McDaniel, 49, of Florence, passed away on Sunday, April 21, 2019. Jimmy was born in Florence, SC a son of Darlene Purvis McGee and the late Kenneth Ray McDaniel.He was a Director of Engineering at McLeod Regional Medical Center. Surviving are his wife, Renee Courtney McDaniel of Florence; son, James Kenneth “Kent” McDaniel, Jr. of Florence; mother, Darlene McGee of Florence; sisters, Kimberly Renee McDaniel of Florence and Kyle McGee (Jonathan) Hunt of Irmo, SC. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, www.cancer.org. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 pm Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm Wednesday in the Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home chapel.Burial will follow in Florence Memorial Gardens.
