Jimmy Levaughn Rotan

Jimmy Levaughn Rotan Florence, South Carolina Jimmy Levaughn Rotan, 79, of Florence, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, October 14, 2012 in a local health care facility after a brief illness. Mr. Rotan was born in Lake City, SC, a son of the late Murdock McCaskill and Corine Marsh Rotan.He attended Truth Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church and loved the Lord, reading his bible, and listening to gospel music. He is preceded in addition to his parents by a sister, Ruth Rotan. Surviving are his five siblings, Earl Lee (Nellie) Rotan, Sr., Barbara Rotan Branton, Patsy Bailey Rotan, Mike (Karen) Rotan, and Tyrone "Buck" (Windy) Rotan all of Florence and number of nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, October 17, 2012 in the Garden of Memories Cemetery, directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Truth Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church, PO Box 5011, Florence, SC 29502. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM today at the funeral home.
