Jimmy Harold Jordan

Jimmy Harold Jordan, Sr., 69, of Effingham, passed away on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at home. Mr. Jordan was born in Florence Co., SC a son of the late Wilbur Jordan and Ruby Owens Jordan.He was a veteran of the US Army and retired from Florence Steel Erectors.He was a member of Lebanon Free Will Baptist Church and was a devoted husband, father, and Papa.He was a hard worker, who loved to hunt, fish, ride his four-wheeler and enjoy his day outdoors. He was preceded in death by his parents; and two sisters, Dorothy Owens and Jeanette Gibbs. Surviving are his wife, Mary “Libby” Bell Jordan of Effingham; son, Jimmy “Jay” (Stacy) Jordan, Jr. of Effingham; daughter, Misty Jordan (Jason) Weatherford of Effingham; grandchildren, Hunter Jordan, McKenzie Jordan, Carter Weatherford, Jordan Weatherford, Dylan Osborn, Gavin Osborn and Rion Osborn; great-grandchild, Brinleigh; sister, Jean Stone of Florence.His family was his most prized possession. Memorials may be made to Lebanon Free Will Baptist Church Building Fund, 7001 Friendfield Road, Effingham, SC29541. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 PM Monday, September 24, 2018 at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday at Lebanon Baptist Church.Burial will follow at Florence Memorial Gardens directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.
