Jessie S. Cartrette

Jessie S. Cartrette, 69, passed away on Saturday, February 24, 2018. Mr. Cartrette was born in Horry Co., SC a son of the late Stanley Cartrette and Alice Anderson Cartrette.He was a “Junk Man”, loved to hunt and fish and was a member of Willow Creek Hunt Club.He loved his grandkids and auctions. Surviving are his wife, Gail Sturgeon Cartrette; sons, Jesse S. Cartrette, Jr., Jason O. Cartrette and Josey (Christina) Cartrette, all of Florence; daughter, Ginger Ann Cartrette of Kitchner, Canada; grandchildren, Cierra Currie, Kiana Cartrette, Amiyah Cartrette, Jason O. Cartrette, II, Journey E. Cartrette, Jaxson Cartrette, Wyatt Cartrette, Kaylee Cartrette; great-grandchild, Kiah Thomas and brother, David Cartrette of Conway, SC. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 PM Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday at Christian Assembly Church.Burial will follow in Matthews Cemetery, Coward.
