Jesse K. Bazen

Jesse K. Bazen, Jr., 86, of Pamplico, SC, passed away on February 18, 2016. Mr. Bazen was born in Pamplico, SC, a son of Jesse K. Bazen, Sr. and Plummer Calcutt Bazen.He was a member of Southside Baptist Church.Mr. Bazen was a long-time farmer, livestock buyer and, entrepreneur involved in several business ventures. Surviving are his son, William “Bill” (Jackie) Bazen of Pamplico, SC; grandchildren, Julie Bazen (Kenny) Kelley and Joye Bazen (Trent) Smith; great-grandchildren, Preston Kelley, Mackenna Kelley, Jalynn Kelley, William Kelley, Trinity Smith, Trenton Smith, Cabot Smith and Temperance Smith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Willa Eaddy Bazen, and three brothers. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, February21, 2016, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church.Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. Family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
