Jeanne Howard Gunton

Jeanne Howard Gunton, 67, of Florence, passed peacefully on Tuesday, January 14, 2020 at McLeod Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Gunton was born in Pitts, PA a daughter of the late James Howard Poling and Virginia Mildred Johns of Kentuck, WV.She attended Reynoldsburg High School in Reynoldsburg, OH where she grew up.She was the office manager of 20 years for High Impact Sign Company in Florence, SC. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Curtis K. Poling. Surviving are her husband, Bob Gunton; son, CPT Julius (Jennifer) Carmichael, III; daughters, Trisha C. (Jon) Granger and Tonia L. (Carmen) Monachelli; step-sons, Rob (Letha) Gunton and Randy (Sandy) Gunton; step-daughters, Susan (Henry) Steeman, Sherry (Greg) Beauchamp, and Judy (Larry) Gunton; grandchildren, Sara Granger, Ethan Granger, Ty Monachelli, Nia Carmichael, Jalen Carmichael, Jaxson Carmichael, and Jacobi Carmichael; 9 step-grandchildren; one step-great-grandchild; sisters, Karen Weber of Pickerington, Ohio and Aleta Ruark of Phoenix, Arizona.
