JEANETTA C. WELCH Florence, SC Jeanetta C. Welch, 77, of Florence, passed away on Monday, October 31, 2016. Mrs. Welch was born in Florence County, SC the daughter of the late John Thomas Chandler and Vernie Durant Floyd Chandler.She was a member of Peace Free Will Baptist Church and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary.She retired as office manager from Merita Bakers after 40 years. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Alton Isadore Welch on November 21, 2008; son, Mark DeWayne Welch; brothers, Fulton Chandler and H.D. Chandler; sisters, Lillie Belle Chandler, Lucille Nowlin, Gracie Lee Gaskins and Eunice Boone. Surviving are her son, Kenneth Alton Welch of Florence; daughter, Laura Donette (Randall) Bayne of Nashville, TN and grandsons, Kenneth Alton (Kathaleen) Welch, Jr. and John Thomas (Brooke) Welch; three great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Peace Free Will Baptist Church, 897 Third Loop Road, Florence, SC29505. The family will receive friends from 6 - 8 PM Thursday at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, November 4, 2016 at Peace Free Will Baptist Church.Burial will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.
