Jean Gatewood “Ms. Mac” McLellan Florence, SC Jean Gatewood “Ms. Mac” McLellan, 88, of Florence, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 13, 2014 at the Pee Dee Gardens of Florence. Mrs. McLellan was born in Augusta, GA a daughter of the late John Coleman Gatewood and Mary Lee Moore Gatewood.She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church and the Hazel Hatchell Sunday School Class.She was also a graduate of the McLeod School of Nursing and retired from Ear, Nose and Throat Associates in 2006 after 55 years in the profession. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William Archie “Mr. Mac” McLellan; son, William Archie McLellan, Jr. and daughter, Teresa Lee McLellan. Surviving are daughter, Mary Anne McLellan of Florence and two grandchildren, Mary Dale Edwards of Florence and Robert McLellan Edwards of Kill Devil Hills, NC. Memorials may be made to the Immanuel Baptist Church Hazel Hatchell Sunday School Class, 306 W. Cherokee Road, Florence, SC29501 or to the Pruitt Health Hospice with the Pee Dee, 609 S. Coit Street, Florence, SC29501. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, November 16, 2014 at Mount Hope Cemetery directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.
