Jannie Mae Miller Taylor, 81, of Effingham, passed away on Saturday, December 9, 2017. Ms. Taylor was born a daughter of the late Maxie McDonald Miller and Janie Lou Moore Miller.She was a daycare worker, having retired from Cherished Child Day Care. Mrs. Taylor was a member of Effingham A.R.P. Church. She is survived by her husband, Frank Rhodes Taylor; daughters, Vicky Bone Lynch (Wayne) of Effingham, Robin Taylor Broad (Tad) of Irmo, and Becky Carol Tanner of Murrells Inlet; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and sister, Marjorie Hill of Florence. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her daughters, Gayle Calhoun and Frankie Renee Taylor; brothers, Talbert W. Miller and Arthur Miller; and sisters, Minnie Wilkes and Ethel Tanner. Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 12, 2017, at Mount Hope Cemetery directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. Family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to McLeod Hospice House, P. O. Box 100551, Florence, SC29502.
