Janie Lee Hanna Poston

Janie Lee Hanna Poston, 86, of Florence, passed away on Monday, March 30, 2015. Mrs. Poston was born in Florence, SC, a daughter of the late Ervin Burch Hanna and Lepearlis Godwin Hanna.She was a member of First Free Will Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, James P. Poston; her daughter, Carolyn Ann Poston; and her siblings, Bill (Aileen) Hanna, Marie Stone, and Mae (Laverne) Poston. Surviving are her sons, James Ray (Cathy) Poston, Jerry (Laura) Poston and Danny L. (Martha) Poston, all of Florence; her daughter, Debbie P. (Jimmy) Allen of Effingham; her brothers, Herman L. (Elevene) Hanna of Pamplico, Clifford (Jean) Hanna of Charleston, Bobby (Deloris) Hanna of Timmonsville, Reverend Earl (Bernice) Hanna of Florence and Reverend Billy D. (Beverly) Hanna of Albany, GA; and a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 1, 2015, at First Free Will Baptist Church.Burial will follow at Florence Memorial Gardens directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. Family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m.– 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to First Free Will Baptist Church, 2624 W.
