JANIE MARGARET EDDINGS ADDISON FLORENCE, SC Janie Margaret Eddings Addison, 84, of Florence, passed away on Thursday, June 09, 2016 at the McLeod Hospice House. Mrs. Addison was born on May 29, 1932 in Cheraw, SC a daughter of the late James David Walker Eddings and Virginia Catherine O’Neal Eddings.She was a member of Dawsey United Methodist Church, a member of the Gideon’s Auxiliary and the Telephone Pioneers. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Louis C. Addison. Surviving are her sons, Bud (Kathi) Addison of Florence and David (Janice) Addison of Columbia; daughters, Teresa (Earl) Brewington of Greenwood, SC and Linda Groff of Florence; 6 grandchildren, Martha Addison (Mitchell) Walker of Oklahoma City, OK, Daniel (Lauren) Groff of Alamogordo, NM, Lauren Addison of Columbia, SC, McKeever (Drake) Cobia of Columbia, SC, Griffin Cole of Tucson, AZ and Travis (Scotti) Brewington of Atlanta, GA and 4 great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Central United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 87, Florence, SC29503. A private memorial service will be held at the Florence National Cemetery at a later date.
