Janet Butler Parrott

Janet Butler Parrott, 65, of Florence, passed away on Sunday, March 13, 2016. Mrs. Parrott was born in Dillon, SC, a daughter of the late Melvin Butler and Erma Louise Moody Butler. She had worked for many years as a hair stylist/barber and was the owner of Jan's Barber Shop in Florence. Surviving are her son, Matthew (Maria) Huggins of Florence; grandchildren, Mallori Lauren Huggins, James LeeThomas, Frank David Thomas, Gabriella Maria Thomas and Michael Matthew Huggins; brothers, Melvin David (Annette) Butler of Goose Creek, SC, Stephen Randall (Lee) Butler, San Diego, CA, Rhett Garrett (Mary) Butler of Florence and Stanley Deland (Faye) Butler of Florence; and sisters, Barbara Butler Lee of Effingham, Sharon Butler (Andrew) Blackmon of Gastonia, NC and Wendy Butler (Mark) McGee of Florence. A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 PM Friday, March 18, 2016 at Dawsey United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home, P. O.
