James "Mike" Michael White

James Michael “Mike” White, 57, 2017, of Effingham, SC, passed away on Tuesday, July 4, 2017. Mr. White was born in Wilmington, NC, a son of Mae Ola Simmons White and the late Bob Laird White.He worked in construction and loved to hunt and fish. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his sisters, Linda Newsome (Louis); Joyce White (Michael Strickland) and Patricia McElveen and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, July 7, 2017, at the Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home and other times at the residence of Linda Newsome.
