James "Jim" Paul Carlisle

James "Jim" Paul Carlisle, 53, of Florence, passed away on Tuesday, May 5, 2015. Mr. Carlisle was born in Norfolk, VA, a son of the late William Stance Carlisle and Bobbie Turner Carlisle.He was a veteran of the US Air Force and had worked with Honda Motor Company. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased in death by his brother, William Carlisle, Jr. Surviving are his sister, Sherry (Charles) C. Banks of Supply, NC; six nieces and two nephews; uncles, Jerry Turner of Florence and Earl (Betty) Carlisle of Currituck, NC; aunt, Doris Hewitt of Myrtle Beach, SC and special cousin, Wade Turner of Florence. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2015, at 2:30 p.m. at Brunswick Islands Baptist Church, 1672 Mt. Pisgah Road, Supply, NC. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home, P. O. Box 12870, Florence, SC29504, to assist the family.
