James Thomas "Tommy" Gause

James Thomas “Tommy” Gause, 74, of Florence, passed away on Tuesday, April 9, 2024. Mr. Gause was born in Asheville, NC a son of the late Furman D. Gause and Frances V. Turner Gause. He was a veteran having served in the US Air Force, the owner and operator of a mortgage company, a painting business, and a member of the Florence Baptist Temple. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, James T. “Jamie” Gause, Jr.; sister, Patricia Nettles, and nephew, David Nettles. Surviving are his son, Brody Justice; daughter, Jacqueline Gause; and niece, Cathy Rolfe, all of Florence. Graveside services will be held at 4:00 pm Friday, April 12, 2024 at Florence Memorial Gardens directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the cemetery.
