James Furno

James Furno, 79, of Conway, SC, passed away on Wednesday, February 16, 2016. Mr. Furno was born in Rockford, Illinois, the son of the late Anthony Joseph Furno and Georgia Eisenhower.He was a veteran of the US Air Force.Mr. Furno was a member of Heritage Baptist Church.He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, as well as an avid golfer and fisherman. Surviving are his wife of forty-nine years, Martha Jackson Furno; son, Sam (Michelle) Furno of Fair Oaks, CA; daughter, Annette (George) Stephenson of Conway, SC; grandchildren, Patric (Ashley) Colbert, Brittany Colbert, Caitlin Colbert, Christian Colbert, Samantha Furno, Elise Furno and Matthew Furno; great-grandchildren, Jackson Colbert and Baelynn Colbert; and sister, Lucille Halfacre of Machesney Park, IL. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 19, 2016, at Florence National Cemetery directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.
