James Wallace Coleman

James Wallace Coleman, 91, of Columbia, passed away on Friday, October 13, 2017. Mr. Coleman was born a son of the late Marion J. Coleman and Pearl King Coleman.He was a veteran of the US Navy serving during WWII.He owned and operator a security company. Mr. Coleman is survived by his wife, Barbara Knights Coleman; son, David Marshall Coleman (Joyce) of West Columbia; daughter, Kimberly Dawn Pitts (Mitchell) of Florence; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his brother, Ronald King Coleman of Mexico. Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, October 22, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home Chapel. Burial at Florence National Cemetery at a later date.
