JAMES W. BARINO Effingham, SC JAMES W. BARINO, 82, of Effingham, passed away on Saturday, October 05, 2013 at Carolinas Hospital System. Mr. Barino was born in Florence, SC a son of the late Brunson B. and Janie Hewitt Barino.He was a member of Evergreen Baptist Church and was the owner and operator of Barino Plumbing. He was preceded in death by his parents; infant son, Jimmy; son, Ricky, who passed away July 24, 2004 andseven siblings. Surviving are his devoted wife of 61 years, Violet Streett Barino of Effingham; children, David (Debra) Barino of Florence, Randy Barino of Florence and Billy (Donna) Barino of Latta; sister, Alma Poston of Florence; grandchildren, Michael (Nicole) Barino and Jenna Barino and one great-grandchild, Michelle Barino. Memorials may be made to Evergreen Baptist Church, 6316 Pamplico Hwy, Florence, SC 29505. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, October 7, 2013 in the Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home Chapel.Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 PM Sunday at the funeral home and other times at the residence of David and Debra Barino, 1107 Hallie Drive, Florence.
