James Mitchell Allen

James Mitchell Allen, 66, of Florence, passed away on Sunday, January 13, 2019. Mr. Allen was born in Florence, SC a son of Grace Owens Allen and the late James Lide Allen.He was a member of Pamplico United Methodist Church. Surviving are Catherine Allen of Florence; son, Mark Allen of Effingham; granddaughter, Lacey Allen; brothers, Steve Allen of Darlington and Mike Allen of Florence, and sister, Faye Poston of Effingham. Memorials may be made to Oak Haven Nursing Home, 123 Oak Street, Darlington, SC29532. The family will receive friends from 5:30 – 6:00 pm Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home with a memorial service to be held at 6:00 pm in the funeral home chapel.
