JAMES ALBERT LANE Florence, SC James Albert Lane, 83, of Florence passed away Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at a Florence hospital after an illness. Mr. Lane was born December 31, 1927 in Gastonia, NC a son of the late Lonnie Lee and Annie Tanner Lane. He was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Florence. Mr. Lane was a US Navy Veteran of WWII. Mr. Lane is survived by his wife, Dottie Calcutt Lane of the home; his children, James Albert (Stacy) Lane, Jr. of North Carolina, Wren Vulcano, Susan (David) Seabolt, both of Florence, and Mark (Felicia) Lane of Mt. Pleasant; grandchildren, Brian Lane, Aleah Lane, Nicholas Vulcano, Jonathan Vulcano, Kristin Seabolt, Lane Seabolt, Tanner Lane, and Tucker Lane; 3 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Lib Moore. Funeral services will be held 1:00pm Friday, December 23, 2011 in the chapel of Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Florence National Cemetery. The family will receive friends 12-1:00pm Friday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Immanuel Baptist Church, 306 West Cherokee Road, Florence, SC 29501.
