JACQUELINE C. “JACKIE” MOODY FLORENCE, SC Heaven shines a little brighter today as Jackie Moody was welcomed there. She was married for 67 years to the love of her life, Sankey. Mrs. Moody was born in Chesterfield, SC. She had retired from SC Telco Credit Union. She was the consummate mother and was adored by her children and grandchildren and friends alike. She was caring and beautiful inside and out. Jackie had an unwavering faith in God and an immense love for her church, Immanuel Baptist. Surviving are her husband, Sankey Moody, Jr. of Florence, son, Sankey Alan (Janeen) Moody of Cincinnati, OH; daughter, Mary Alice (Monte) Veal of Wolf Laurel, NC; sister, Polly Cockrell of Florence; grandchildren, Jay and Reid Wilson, Chris and Dylan Moody; Great-Grandchildren, Olivia, Will, Elizabeth and Andrew Moody. Funeral service will be held at 3:00 P.M. Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at Immanuel Baptist Church. Entombment will follow in the Mount Hope Mausoleum, directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
