Jacqueline "Jackie" Mcleod Locklair

Jacqueline “Jackie” Smith McLeod Locklair, 97, of Florence, passed away on Friday, January 17, 2020. Ms. Locklair was the daughter of the late Thelma VonRauchning Hubach McLeod and Franklin Gordon Smith.She was a member of Peace Church and the Lenoir Chapter of the Eastern Star.Ms. Locklair retired after 40 years with H & S Book House. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow Locklair and her brother, James C. McLeod, Jr. Ms. Locklair is survived by her sons, Frank Locklair (Libby Aiken) and Bill Locklair (Diane); grandchildren, Tama McGee (Brian), Jenifer Locklair (Kenny Moore) and William David Locklair, Jr.; great-grandchildren, Quinlan, Ewan, Julian, Bryce and Will; sister, Thelma “Doll” Duval; sister-in-law, Al Thomas; a number of nieces and nephews and extended family. Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, January 20, 2020, at Florence Memorial Gardens Chapel directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.
