Jacqueline Thompson Atkinson

Jacqueline Thompson Atkinson, 67, of Timmonsville, SC passed away on Tuesday, July 28, 2020. Mrs. Atkinson was born in Florence, SC a daughter of the late Jack Thompson, Sr. and Ethel Lloyd Thompson. She was preceded in death by her parents and by a sister, Miriam Thompson. Surviving are her husband, Charles Atkinson; daughter, Tiffany Hayes (James) McDaniel of Johnsonville; grandchildren, Chris (Brittney) Powell, Amber (Jeremy) Miles, and Andrew Powell, all of Johnsonville, SC; great-grandchildren, Hunter Miller, Bailee Powell, Gracelynn Miles, and Grainger Brown; brother, Jack Thompson, Jr. of Effingham; sisters, Pat (Jerry) Byrd and Joyce Thompson, both of Effingham. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to McLeod Children’s Hospital, www.mcleodfoundation.org. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am– 12 noon Saturday, August 1, 2020 at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home and other times at the residence of Tiffany and James McDaniel, 1010 Vox Highway, Johnsonville, SC.
