Jackie Dale Rogers

Jackie Dale Rogers, 88, of Florence, SC, passed away early Thursday morning, July 23, 2026, at McLeod Hospice House.

Jackie was born in Marion, South Carolina, the son of the late Bell and James Rogers. He was a veteran of the US Army and retired from DuPont in Florence, SC. He was very active at Palmetto Street Church of God and taught Sunday School at a local nursing home for many years. Jackie was a very friendly man and loved to cut grass at his local farm – it was his happy place.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, his soulmate, Mildred B. Rogers.

Surviving are his daughter, Michele Rogers Cooper; son, Michael Rogers (Melissa); grandchildren, Breanna Cooper, CJ Rogers, Sarah Cooper and Brad Rogers and great-grandchild, Serenity Rogers.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at Palmetto Street Church of God directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.

Family will receive friends immediately following the service on Saturday at the Church. Burial will be private.
